Life Test of Lamps
| CTL boasts of having high-end
chambers to conduct Life test of Lamp/Luminaries. The Temperature of
these chambers ranges from Ambient to 100C and the capacity is more
than 60 jobs at a time. The Indian and International standards requiring Life Tests are: IS 16102 (Part 2), IS 15111(Part 2), IS 2418, IES LM49, IES LM47, IES LM60, IES LM40, IES LM65, or any other appropriate Energy Star procedures for CFL and LED. The concept of Life Test is that it is conducted under controlled conditions to obtain optimally comparable data on individual lamp life, changes in light output, and other parameters that vary during the life of the lamp. |
